Little Athletics is all about - FAMILY, FUN and FITNESS.
Our goals is to provide a friendly and safe environment that will ensure our athletes and families enjoy the participation and friendships that Little Athletics can provide. We aim to develop and improve the skills and performances of all our athletes, whether they compete locally or choose to compete at higher levels.
What events do we provide?
All athletes compete in various running races, jumps and throws events. The distances and type of equipment etc are modified to suit the specific age groups. Whilst athletes are encouraged to participate in all events it is not compulsory.
Each competition day you may compete in up to five events, these events cover a three week programme and include running, jumping and throwing - individual age groups and programmes are available here.

All athletes aged 6 and up receive a certificate of participation at the end of the season detailing personal bests, Tiny Tots receive a participation trophy - presented to those that attend the presentation night.
Athletes aged 6 and up who have achieved greater than 70% attendance are eligible to be awarded club trophies in various categories.
There are Gala days and special events throughout NSW for various age groups if you would like to participate, they include the Bi-annual Trans Tasman Tour for Under 11 & 12’s. NSW senior athletics for Under 13 to 17’s who automatically hold dual-registration.

Our Centre is run by You
Our centre is operated on a non-profit basis, and is run solely through parents volunteering their time on the Management Committee and in the weekly running of our club, all athletes MUST have a parent or guardian present and we require their assistance in set-up, running and pack-up, so please step forward and ask what you can do to help make our centre about - FAMILY, FUN and FITNESS.
